Tech Olympics

Sponsored by the New England Section of the United States Institute for Theater Technology (USITT).

The Tech Olympics are typically held on Saturday of the American College Theater Festival. Check program schedule for exact time and place.

Events change each year but likely will include: props scene change event, tool and hardware identification event, knot tying event, costume quick change event, light hand & focus event; cut, measure and nail event; plus flat identification event.

Winners will be determined by their speed, accuracy and care. First scholarship is a certificate and $50 dollars to the recipient team. The overall recipient team will design and host the Tech Olympics at the following years festival as well as contribute to the coveted Tech Olympic Trophy.
Certificates are awarded to indiviual event recipients.

Eligibility

1. Any college or university student interested in the performing arts and registered to attend ACTF.

3. Sign up on site at the Region I KCACTF Festival.
