Festival 46 Keynote Address Speaker

Dear Colleagues,
This year our Keynote address will be given by Rayme Cornell. The title of her Keynote is "Do You Know What You're Selling?" and it will focus on the importance of expressing your identity through your artistic work.
During the festival week. Rayme will offer a workshop on physicalizing Shakespeare and a workshop on voice-over techniques. The Keynote address is scheduled for
Tuesday, January 28th, at 6:30pm in the Grand Ballroom
at the Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis. Festival registration forms are now online. See Link Above


Rayme is an Assistant Professor of the Performance Faculty at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is a Professional Actor. Rayme is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (Nominating Committee), American
Federation of Television and Radio and Actors Equity Association. Rayme received her B.A. from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and her MFA in Acting & Directing from the University of Missouri Kansas City in association with the Missouri Repertory Theatre. She is the host
of the national award winning PBS show Real Moms, Real Stories, Real Savvy. She has worked in film, television,
Off Broadway and with some of the nations most prestigious Regional Theatres including, The Old Globe,
The Alley, Crossroads, ATC, The Vineyard, Nevada Conservatory Theatre, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Primary Stages, The O’Neill, Missouri Rep., Unicorn
Theatre and with New York’s famous Acting Company. Rayme is also known for her extensive voice-over work representing such products as L’Oreal, Ford, Dunkin' Donuts, Cingular, Singular, Lifetime, WE, Oxygen Network, USA Network, MTV, VH1, BET, ESPN, History Channel, Discovery Channel, Republican and Democratic Candidates and many more. Rayme splits her time between
working in New York and teaching and working in
Las Vegas. Her greatest role to date is that of being Brick’s Mom.

Commonwealth Shakespeare Company is pleased to be returning to KCACTF, Region 1 in 2014! You can learn more about the CSC Apprentice Program, an eight-week intense classical acting training program for early career actors, at our information table at the Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis. Staff and faculty will be on hand to answer questions about the Company and the Apprentice program on Wednesday (1/29) and Thursday (1/30). You can sample some of the Program's world-class training at two different workshops on Thursday and Friday, including a workshop on the Classical audition, led by CSC Artistic Director, Steven Maler. On Friday, CSC will hold auditions for the Apprentice Program on site. In recognition of the commitment to theater that every KCACTF member shows, CSC will waive the application fee to anyone who submits an application to the Apprentice Program at the Festival. In addition, of the students that audition for the Program, two will be awarded a merit-based half-scholarship to help fund their training with CSC in the summer of 2014.
