ORIGINAL PLAY SUBMISSION DEADLINES AND GUIDELINES

The submission deadline for all Region I original play scripts -- Ten-Minute, One-Act, and David Mark Cohen Full-Length Play or Musical -- for regional and national award consideration is November 1.

The deadline for all Michael Kanin National Reading Awards is December 1.

All plays must be submitted electronically in PDF format. (No snail mail submissions accepted.) For playwrights in need of a PDF converter, there are many free ones available online: googledocs and CutePDF both offer good ones. Plays must also be typed and paginated in standard play manuscript format; examples can be found here and here.

Please fill out the appropriate cover sheet and submit it with each entered play:

KCACTF COVER SHEET FOR TEN MINUTE PLAYS
KCACTF COVER SHEET FOR ALL ONE-ACT PLAYS
KCACTF COVER SHEET FOR ALL FULL-LENGTH PLAYS

Please attach each play and its appropriate cover sheet (Links Above) to a separate email with the play’s title in the subject line. DO NOT attach more than one play to each email.

Remember, each submission requires two separate documents:
Your entered play (with your name and institution removed) and the appropriate cover sheet provided.

If you have not submitted two documents with each submission, you have not submitted.
