Greetings Playwrights!
The National Playwriting Program (NPP) of KCACTF offers a staggering number of opportunities for playwrights. At Region I, we encourage you to submit your work, and are here to help you through the process. We have endeavored on this site to make the process as smooth as possible; when the inevitable questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact us at: npp.chair.region1@gmail.com.
We look forward to your submissions,
and hope to see you at Festival!
Best regards,

NPP changed its ratings’ system this year, and I felt it worked well. The plays were generally of a high caliber, and, though BU again dominated, we had a wider selection of schools participating.
The NAPAT nominee, Jon Fitts’ HIBAKUSHA, was directed by Tony Howarth, and cast before festival.
